Saved an LTB form? Re-open Ontario’s official collection
Ontario’s LTB forms and processes can change. Use the maintained forms collection before relying on an old email, download, or third-party template.
If you have an Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board form saved from an old email or browser download, start again at the current official collection. This is general information, not legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice. It does not tell you which form applies, whether a form is complete, or what you should do in a particular tenancy.
Start with the current LTB collection
The Landlord and Tenant Board’s Forms, filing and fees page is the official place to find landlord and tenant applications, notices, instructions, and other forms. The page also directs readers to Navigate Tribunals Ontario for information about rights, responsibilities, and LTB processes.
That page currently carries a June 30, 2026 notice saying that processes, forms, and information materials are being updated effective July 1. Treat that as a prompt to re-open the official page before relying on a saved copy, a third-party template, or an old link.
Keep the source question separate from the answer
Ontario’s renting-rights page says the Residential Tenancies Act applies to most private residential rental units and notes that some rentals have different rules. It also says the LTB is the tribunal that resolves residential tenancy disputes.
Those are reasons to check the current official material, not shortcuts to a decision. The current Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 is the governing source. If your question depends on the type of tenancy, a notice, a filing, a deadline, or a dispute, get qualified help for your facts.

Before you open the official collection, put the records you may need in one place:
- the property and unit details you can verify;
- the dates and documents already in your records;
- the messages or notices you actually received or sent; and
- the questions your records do not answer.
